Perugia 1416 meets the city – Fourth Conferences cycle
Meeting with Roberto Segatori
former professor of Sociology of Political phenomena
Manager of the Dipartimento Istituzioni e Società of the University of Perugia
National Coordinator of the Political Sociologists for the Associazione Italiana di Sociologia (2006-2013)

The meeting will deal on the concept of identity, single or collective, regarding signs, evocations, fascinations, characters and recurrent themes in a historical re-enactment. In the handling of the message that the historical re-enactment conveys and all its links, a community comes to have, or to give itself, an identity among growing enthusiasms and declining controversies. Particularly will “Perugia 1416” succeed in placing itself as identity criterion for the city of the Griffin?
