An exclusive homage for Perugia 1416, signed by Maurizio Mastrini. The renowed “contra” pianist composed, together with Andrea Valentini, a little soundtrack with the instrumental group Magister, directed by him.
“With this little music composition, dedicated to this great historic event organised by Perugia Municipality – tells Mastrini – I wanted to depict with sound the different phases of a challenge. It is a piece of music characterised by an “Ostinato” on which is based an increasing harmony and some instrumental embellishments reconnecting with the historic period here seen. At the same time I’ve wanted to keep a music style appreciated by the listener of today. After a brief introduction, describing the atmospheres of the sunrise on a battlefield, the ostinato gets in, describing the fighters parade getting into the battlefield. After a brief pause, a definite heroic theme, defined “the launching of the challenge”, that arrives directly in the part defined “the Challenge”. Right in the end of the piece we find “The Triumph”, the victorious return, Then the ostinato again, finishing in the “Finale”>> The music will be distributed by the major music digital platforms.
