REGULATIONS

The five districts will compete against one another, fielding their finest athletes, most charismatic figures and most admired beauties dressed in 15th-century costume. The Palio will be won by the district that has accumulated the highest score by the end of the competitions.
In the 2026 edition, the events will be: the Drape Race, Historical Archery, the Tower Challenge and the new addition, the Theatrical show.
The Parade in this edition does not count towards the score.

REGULATIONS

As part of the 11th edition of Perugia1416, a competition for children from the city’s five districts will take place.

Children’s Palio
Tug-of-war and running races
Followed by the award ceremony for the winning team
